The latest smartphone SoC from Huawei, the Kirin 980, was revealed by the company at the end of August, and the company is now claiming its chip will be better than Apple's A12 Bionic.
Huawei today announced the Kirin 980, the chipset that you can expect to see in next year's flagship handsets from the firm. It's a 7nm processor with ARM Cortex-A76 cores, and a dual NPU.
Huawei has had a rough year but it continues to release new handsets. It looks like the firm will debut its 7nm Kirin 980 processor during IFA Berlin and is set to release the Mate 20 in October.
