Today, Google released a new Android Wear beta, which brings the OS to API 26, or Android 8.0 Oreo. It's not a major update to the operating system, and only contains a couple of new features.

Google recently announced Android Wear 2.0 and it looks like Verizon will offer its own exclusive wearable, in the form of the Wear24, which will arrive on Verizon in March for $299.99.
