Canonical has announced the release of Ubuntu 19.10. This is the final version before Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, which is due next April. Ubuntu 19.10 comes with GNOME 3.34, ZFS support, and Linux kernel 5.3.

Canonical has announced the availability of the Ubuntu 19.10 beta images. The next few weeks will allow the public to test the software and report any bugs before the stable version is released.
Canonical has finally decided that the next version of Ubuntu will carry the codename Eoan Ermine, which is really just a fancy name for a stoat. Ubuntu 19.10 is due for release in mid-October.
