Microsoft Search will soon index Teams meeting transcriptions to improve search results for meetings saved on SharePoint and OneDrive. It does include caveats to ensure confidentiality.

Microsoft has updated its roadmap for Microsoft 365, adding support for live transcription in unscheduled Teams meetings in July. It's also bringing Together Mode to VDI users in May.
Today, Microsoft published its usual roundup of new features for its Teams collaboration platform. This one covers both the months of February and March, so it includes quite a lot.
Microsoft has announced that Teams meetings now support live transcription with speaker attribution. Transcripts are saved automatically, and they can also serve as captions for recorded meetings.
Zoom will make automatic closed captioning live for its free users beginning in the fall of this year. Starting this week, though, they can manually request access to the accessibility feature.
Microsoft Teams' Live transcription feature that lets users transcribe and attribute speech in meetings will begin rolling out in September. Users can also search for text in recorded transcriptions.
