The Linux Mint team has shared its plans regarding Linux Mint 21.3, the EDGE edition, and LMDE 6. The head of the project said that that 21.3 beta phase should be coming to an end this week.

The Linux Mint team has released LMDE 6 for download. LMDE is the Linux MInt team's backup plan in case anything back happens to Ubuntu which is the base of the main Linux Mint versions.
The Linux Mint team is testing the ISO image of LMDE 6, its Debian-based operating system. Hopefully, it should not be too long until it passes the tests and is made available for public consumption.
