NAS hard disk drives are getting bigger in size with many high-capacity models featuring 18TB and more space. However, the endurance and workload ratings of these HDDs are very, very low.
The Chia crypto-coin has been causing shortages of storage hardware like SSDs and HDDs. Some of the SSD makers have now started to react by reducing the endurance and warranties on their products.
