Xiaomi's largest smartphone offering, the Mi Max could be entering tablet territory in its next iteration, as the unannounced device is rumoured to feature a 7-inch display and a 5500 mAh battery.

Google released Nougat in August 2016, but Xiaomi has only just announced details of the handsets that it intends to upgrade to Android 7.0 and 7.1.1, although there's no clear timeframe for doing so.
