Microsoft has announced Visual Studio Mobile Center, promising a "mission control for mobile apps", through which you can build, test, distribute and monitor your apps, and add backend cloud services.

After spoiling the surprise earlier this week, Microsoft has now officially announced Visual Studio for Mac, releasing its first preview today, and promising new features in the coming months.
"Microsoft and the Linux Foundation may have had our disagreements in the past,", the Foundation's Jim Zemlin said today, "but one thing we've always agreed on is that developers are super-important."
