Google's October updates for Pixel devices bring security updates and fixes a recently reported issue with the swipe-up gesture in the launcher. It also brings auto-rotation and other improvements.
Monthly security update RSS
As is the norm, Google began rolling out the monthly Android security patch for Pixel devices. All generations of the Pixel lineup of phones will receive the patches, along with the Essential Phone.
Google recently announced its February security update and now Samsung has followed suit. While announced, Samsung's new update could take close to a month to arrive on your handset.
