Samsung has made a breakthrough in increasing the resistivity of MRAM. This makes it a more viable option for in-memory processing and could be used in next-generation artificial intelligence chips.
A group of over 20 chip makers have joined forces to develop MRAM, the next breakthrough in memory chips which is set to deliver up to 10 times more speed compared to the current DRAM chips.
