OnePlus CEO Pete Lau took to Weibo today to announce that the company will not be releasing a Pro variant of the upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 8T, confirming earlier rumors.

It looks like OnePlus is not planning to launch a 'T' refresh of the OnePlus 8 Pro this year. Instead, the company will only refresh the OnePlus 8 later this month with a better display.
