Vodafone has announced plans to develop new chips for Open RAN hardware. It will employ 50 people to develop the new hardware at its new digital skills hub in Málaga, Spain which opened today.

Microsoft and Nokia have formed an agreement to better integrate Nokia's cloud technology with Microsoft's Azure. The firms said they could expand the scope of the partnership in the future.
