In a blog post today, Microsoft says it wants to settle its patent lawsuits against Motorola and Google but will only do so if it is compensated for its patent licenses.

Microsoft and Google's new subsidiary Motorola Mobility have now agreed to put a halt, at least for now, on their lawsuits that deal with three of their patent disputes.
Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, is scheduled to meet with Samsung's CEO Gee-Sung Choi in San Fransisco on May 21st and May 22nd in an attempt to settle the companies' many patent lawsuits.
