Developer Grinding Gear Games will not be launching a closed beta test for its upcoming action-RPG sequel Path of Exile 2 on June 7 as planned. It will now begin sometime later in 2024.

During ExileCon today, Grinding Gear Games took to the stage to announce Path of Exile 2, a sequel to its current title. Featuring a seven-act campaign, it could enter beta in late 2020.
The Chinese giant Tencent has acquired a majority stake in Grinding Gear Games, the company behind popular dungeon crawler Path of Exile. The developers has said its strategy won't change.
