Game developer Starbreeze has announced that it has cut ties with its CEO Tobias Sjögren, after its long-awaited title Payday 3 turned out to be a critical and sales disappointment.

Starbreeze says that its efforts to fix the launch issues in its heist shooter sequel Payday 3 have been successful. It will now move on with its plans for post-launch updates and new content.
Starbreeze has issued apologies for the server problems that have been plaguing Payday 3 since the long awaited heist-themed first-person shooter sequel officially launched on Thursday.
Payday 3 is running a free open beta on PC and Xbox Series X|S from September 8-11. You can try out the bank heist, original gang, and weapons before the game launches on September 21.
After facing numerous delays already, the release date of Overkill's co-op first person shooter title "The Walking Dead" has been pushed back yet again, this time to the second half of 2018.
