The media streaming platform has decided to shut down the service launched back in 2016 in light of the many issues that have plagued it in recent months and the costs required to maintain it.

Starting today, Plex has opened up its Plex Cloud service to all paying members which will allow users to leverage storage from existing cloud services including Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive.
