Microsoft has shared the changelog of all the features it added to Teams in January 2023. Notable additions include a paginated view for galleries and improved integration with Meta Workplace Live.
Microsoft has brought the Automate tab to Excel on the desktop, both Windows and Mac. The feature enables users to leverage Power Automate to schedule and manage their Office Scripts.
The latest updates enables natural language and AI to be used in innovative ways in Power Automate, with a flurry of new features for other Power Platform services being announced as well.
Microsoft has announced Power Pages, a low-code platform to build websites. It has also revealed a bunch of capabilities coming to Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Apps.
Both iOS and Android now host Power Apps mobile apps in preview. Aside from this, a bunch of updates for other services in the Power Platform such as Power Automate have been announced as well.
The focus this time around for the Power Platform is on improved integration with other services such as Teams, while also improving internal harmony among the services existing in the platform.
A new process mining capability for Power Automate enables paves the path for automation insights, while new professional development tools lead the way for Power Apps in the Power Platform.
With previous phases having completed, general availability for the release wave 1 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform is now underway, and is set to continue for the next six months.
The first major release wave for this year focuses on features and capabilities that are set to be released from April through September, with early access poised to begin next month.
Full reports can now be included as PowerPoint or PDF attachments in Power BI Premium workspaces. The public preview of the Premium per user capability has also been fully rolled out.
With regards to its Dynamics 365 platform, Microsoft has released Connected Store in preview. Fraud Protection is available with two new capabilities, while Customer Voice has been unveiled as well.
Updates as part of the 2020 release wave 2 for Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform are going to be made generally available starting October. Other key dates have also been announced.
