Samsung is reportedly prototyping a foldable smartphone with dual-displays connected via a hinge, continuing the development of its rumored 'Galaxy X' device under the codename 'Project Valey.'

A recently posted patent application by Samsung could possibly give us a glimpse of what its plans are regarding devices with foldable screens. The devices are rumored to arrive by the MWC 2017 event.
Samsung's North America chief says devices with bendable displays are "relatively right around the corner" - just days after a report claiming that Samsung's first foldable phones will arrive in 2017.
Samsung is believed to be working on two devices with bendable displays - including one with a 5-inch form factor that opens up to become an 8-inch tablet - and they may be unveiled in early 2017.
