Xiaomi has just unveiled the successor to its flagship device, the Mi Max. The Mi Max 2 comes with a huge display and an equally huge 5300mAh battery which includes Quick Charge 3.0.

Chinese manufacturer Meizu showed off its new Super mCharge technology with a real-time on-stage demo, in which the battery on one of its flagship phones was fully charged from empty in 18 minutes.
Qualcomm has been under fire lately, as the firm has been called out for Quick Charge not complying with the USB Type-C standard. The company has stated that while it's not compliant, it is safe.
