Google has announced that it has begun bringing Emergency Location Services to the United States. Now, when callers on supported networks call emergency services, their location is forwarded too.

Apple is working with RapidSOS to help emergency services find your location based on Apple's Hybridized Emergency Location feature which was introduced in 2015. This will allow for faster responses.
