The mods of the popular subreddit IAmA or Ask Me Anything have announced that among various changes they will stop the solicitation of celebrities and high-profile individuals for AMA sessions.

According to new stats released by Reddit, the platform is visited by over 57 million daily active users. Also, more than 80% of its top 5,000 subreddits are open amid the ongoing blackout.
The "dark" protest of many subreddits to protest Reddit's upcoming API price hikes is still going for some forums after the previously planned 48-hour protest time period expired on Tuesday.
Some Reddit users have been unable to load the online forums, on the same day that thousands of popular subreddits went "dark" and will continue to do so through Tuesday, June 13.
