The Indian variant of Xiaomi's upcoming smartphone, the Redmi 9, has been unveiled in India. It is very similar to the Redmi 9C launched in Europe last month. The Indian Redmi 9 launches on August 31.

After introducing its latest entry-level smartphone last month, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 9 in the UK, where it is now available to purchase for £149, down from its original price of £159.
Today, Xiaomi announced the new entry-level Redmi 9 series of smartphones, including the Redmi 9, 9C, and 9A. The phones cost anywhere from €99 to €169, and all have large batteries.
