Despite Windows 11 optimization, it was recently found that Intel's newer 13th Gen is less snappy than the 10th Gen. Interestingly, AMD's modern Ryzen 7000 is not exhibiting this to such a degree.

On the outgoing Windows 10, it was recently found that Intel's newer 13th Gen is less snappy than 10th Gen CPUs. Interestingly, it looks like modern Ryzen is also falling behind the older Intel chip.
Microsoft and Intel worked together to optimize Windows 11 for the latter's hybrid CPU design. Testing however suggests that Windows 10 may indeed be a bit snappier overall than Windows 11.
Intel's hybrid CPUs are apparently struggling with latency issues as they can often be sluggish despite being much faster on paper than older CPUs like 10th or 11th gen, according to a report.
Firefox is set to handle tabs in a much more refined fashion after Quantum Flow lands in Firefox 55. In a test opening 1691 tabs (but not loading pages), Firefox 55 did it 30x quicker than Firefox 51.
