Hot on the heels of its Motiga layoffs, Chinese publisher Perfect World Entertainment has shut down another company in its roster, Seattle-based Runic Games, makers of Torchlight I, II, and Hob.

If you've purchased Torchlight I or II - or both - via the Runic Store or Steam, you can redeem DRM-free copies on GOG. The Steam copies are redeemable through GOG Connect until Oct. 14, 1PM UTC.
With Torchlight II now released, Runic Games is still thinking about its future projects, which could include expansion packs for the action-RPG and an all new game outside the Torchlight franchise.
You can now pre-order Torchlight 2 from both Perfect World (with free access to future beta of Dungeons and Dragons Neverwinter) or from Steam who also offer a cheaper four-pack option.
