AMD is making a fairly significant announcement today as it is launching its first hybrid processors for the consumer market with the new Ryzen 7000 mobile which integrates the smaller Zen 4c cores.
AMD has announced the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D CPU for gaming notebooks, with 3D V-Cache and 64MB of L3. However, it will only be in one high-end laptop, made by ASUS, when it launches in August.
AMD says the new AMD Ryzen 7840U processor is more powerful than comparable chips made by Apple and Intel, and will be inside gaming laptops made by Razer, Framework, Acer, and more notebooks.
