Deep Silver today announced a remaster for Saints Row: The Third, bringing the popular game to modern consoles for the first time with many improvements to the graphics side of things.

The seven-year-old open-world title is heading to Nintendo's hybrid console sometime next year. There's currently no word on whether the latest iteration of the franchise will be ported over too.
