The Nintendo Switch console has now sold 122.55 million units since it was first launched in 2017. However, sales of the Switch were lower than expected for the holiday quarter of 2022.

In recently published sales data, Nintendo confirms that the Switch has sold over 111 million units worldwide, which includes the original, the Lite and the OLED models, and closes in on the Game Boy.
Games selling in the millions will now have to give Steam less of a cut according to a new revenue share tier system announced by Valve today, aimed at keeping the platform attractive to developers.
