Cyber-security firm SonicWall has released patches that fix the issues its users and administrators were encountering due to the Y2K22 Microsoft Exchange Server bug that hit at the cusp of New Year.

Microsoft has delivered on its promise of releasing a solution, both automated and manual, for the Y2K22 Exchange Server bug that was causing mail and messages to get stuck in transport queues.
In order to resume processing of mail, sysadmins are disabling malware scanning on their exchange servers, leaving their users, and possibly the servers themselves, vulnerable to attack.
