Messenger users can now use some new features including sending HD photos and sending files in many formats up to 100MB. Other features include adding contacts via QR code and shared albums.

Google has announced that it is improving the album sharing controls on Photos. The app now defaults to sharing albums with users with a Google account. Album owners can also remove contributors.
