EE has announced that it's upgrading thousands of sites around the UK with 4G connectivity. The upgrades are part of the Shared Rural Network which aims to connect unconnected areas.

O2, Three, and Vodafone have come to an agreement regarding the Shared Rural Network. The firms will build 222 mobile masts in under-served areas, which will be shared by all three.
