Nvidia Shield Tablet and Shield Tablet K1 owners might be in for a bit of a shock. Apparently, neither of the aforementioned tablets will be updated to Google's latest Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Nvidia Shield Tablet was released close to three years ago and this week it will be updated to Google's latest Android 7.0 Nougat. The update will roll out to devices over the next few days.
After announcing it intentions a little more than a month ago, NVIDIA has released Android 6.0 Marshmallow for its Shield Tablet K1 bringing new features and improvements.
