The COVID-19 pandemic presented a great opportunity for Skype but it still lacked behind other video calling apps. However, the Redmond giant has no intention of ditching Skype in favour of Teams.

Microsoft has further pushed the rollout completion of Skype and Teams interoperability to the end of June. The firm is ironing out issues owing to "sub-optimal" feedback for the feature.
