Many users reported on social media that their Spotify playlists mysteriously vanished from the desktop version and mobile apps. The issue has now been fixed by the company, as per the latest update.

The revamped desktop version of Spotify includes new sections on either side of the main app, which are supposed to show users their current library of songs, and what's currently playing.
The Spotify apps for Windows and Mac are being updated, bringing the ability to initiate a Chromecast stream right from the desktop clients. The feature was earlier possible only from the mobile apps.
