Storage settings has received some notable improvements in Windows 11 with some UI changes. There is also a new dedicated page for disks and volumes, as well as tighter integration with OneDrive.

It's fair to say that the October 2018 Update could have gone better. A number of problems saw data being deleted, and a new feature might even have you accidentally deleting your Downloads folder.
In the latest build of Windows 10, 9901, there have improvements to Storage Sense since the last time we looked at this feature, including a few hints about saving apps and games to an SD card.
During the past two days, we have seen new images of Windows 9 and learned about many new features - one of which is called 'Storage Sense', and which can currently be found on Windows Phone 8.1.
