Facebook has announced that Messenger, in 2018, will become much more of a visual messenger and will work to cut out the clutter that has built up in the product over the last couple of years.

Microsoft has announced that it is ceasing support for several Lumia apps which include Storyteller, Refocus, Beamer, Panorama and Photobeamer. These apps have now been removed from the store.
