Microsoft is preparing to release an updated Surface RT 2 that will bring with it the Tegra 4 processor, 1080P screen and the updated kickstand that has two stop points for increased viewing angles.

Earlier this year, Microsoft wrote down its current inventory for the Surface RT to the tune of $900 million but this did not foil plans and they are building an RT 2 that looks similar to the RT1.
