Microsoft has been careful to avoid publicising the cost to manufacturers of licensing the Windows Phone OS for each handset - but an executive from ZTE has now revealed the charge for each licence.

Chinese smartphone maker ZTE have announced a Windows Phone 7 Mango-based handset called "Tania". The device will ship with a 1GHz single-core CPU, a 4.3" display and will go against HTC's Radar.
