KaiOS Technologies has partnered up with Justdiggit, a Dutch foundation that focuses on fighting desertification, to help Tanzanian farmers preserve their livelihood against the climate change threat.

The UK is funding a supercomputer which helps to track devastating locust swarms. It also uses predicted weather data to work out where the locusts will move to next, giving farmers time to prepare.
