AMD's fTPM had been causing stuttering and freezing issues first on Windows, and then on Linux too. As such, Linux boss Linus Torvalds has now suggested disabling fTPM entirely on Ryzen.

VirtualBox has received a major update today which fixes crashes related to TPM, graphical issues on Windows 11, and performance problems on Macs. Aside from that, Linux 6.5 and 6.4 are supported.
Microsoft is probably well aware of the various TPM-related bugs and issues, whether they are major ones or some of the many minor ones. As such, the company is working on a "TPM troubleshooter".
