Twitter today announced that it is expanding its policies to enforce the removal of posts with misinformation about COIVD-19 vaccines. It will also begin labeling false tweets starting next year.
Twitter today suspended its plan to delete inactive accounts on December 11 after acknowledging some issues. For now, it will work to memorialize first the accounts of deceased users.
Twitter will be removing accounts that have been inactive for more than six months by December 11 in order to free up handles. However, there's no word on when these handles will be up for grabs.
