Google has added new functionality to the Tez payments app in India which allows users to search for over 90 utility companies in order to quickly and easily get bill payments set up.

After reports late last week, it appears that Google is rolling out Tez, a mobile payment app leveraging India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) framework with support for three banks.
Google will reportedly be unveiling its new digital payments system, dubbed Google Tez, on the 18th of September. The system could allow users to transfer money between bank accounts on their mobiles.
