Vodafone has called on the UK government to reduce VAT on cybersecurity products to 5%. It hopes this will help SMEs buy these products to protect themselves from highly damaging cyberattacks.

The UK government has announced that it's scrapping VAT on e-publications from tomorrow. It said that a £12 book could cost £2 less after the change and newspaper subscriptions will be up to £25 less.
