Black Friday is almost upon us, and if you're looking to get into virtual reality, HTC has a deal that might interest you - the VIve Pro headset will be at its lowest price ever, $699, this weekend.
Nearly eight months after it was originally shown off at CES 2018, the wireless adapter for Vive and Vive Pro VR headsets will become available for pre-order next month but it won't be cheap.
Announced at CES this year, the Vive Pro will begin shipping in April. The original Vive's price has dropped a hundred bucks to $499 and will remain available to purchase for the foreseeable future.
HTC had teased the possibility of a resolution upgrade for its Vive VR headset, which likely meant a whole new unit. That turns out to be the case with the announcement of an all-new Vive Pro device.
