Earlier this year, the Windows 11 "Gallery" app leaked. Now, we have more information about the feature, which also reveals Microsoft's intent to move on from DirectUI onto XAML and WinAppSDK.
After the recent update to Files App which introduced new Windows 11-styled rounded corners on certain Windows 10 elements, the app has now received another visual upgrade with new "fake mica" theme.
Files 2.4 is now available to all. The latest update moves the app from UWP over to Windows App SDK. Aside from that, the new version also contains plenty of new changes detailed in a long changelog.
