Microsoft's second purchase of wind energy in the Netherlands in recent years sees it partner up with sustainable energy company Eneco. The deal will run for 15 years, starting from 2022.

The company has expanded its energy portfolio via two new deals with EDP Renewables and Invenergy. This is another step towards the firm's goal of 60% carbon-neutral data center operations by 2020.
