The old Windows Mail, Calendar, and People apps are about to go six feet under. Microsoft has acknowledged that the apps will stop working in a few weeks.

The new alert was released via the Microsoft 365 Message Center. Businesses don't need to do anything right now, but they could get a notification on their Mail and Calendar apps in the future.
The Windows 10 Mail app was updated with inking support for Insiders in the Fast Ring in June, adding the ability to draw on email messages. The feature is now rolling out to all Windows 10 users.
