Microsoft today updated the Windows Maps app for Windows Insiders that are in the Fast ring. The new update, version 5.1610.2953.0, contains the ability to group favorite places into collections.
After promising the feature would come in the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, Microsoft has delivered Windows Ink support in Windows Maps just in time. Users can now mark custom routes.
The update includes improved guided navigation, support for multiple searches, and more - as well as a migration tool for users of HERE apps, which will stop working on Windows 10 devices on June 30.
The Xbox Store and Windows Store are on the way to convergence, HERE ditches Windows users, Twitter changes looks on mobile, and we rounded up several new and updated apps and games.
