Bill Gates is taking the stand to defend Microsoft in an anti-trust lawsuit that Novell is bringing against the company and at the heart of their defense is an email from Bill Gates back in 1994.

Microsoft asked the judge to dismiss the current anti-trust case the company has with Novell, after the judge questioned whether Novell had shown enough evidence to take the case to a jury decision.
Microsoft goes to trial this week in Utah against software company Novell who claims Microsoft has violated anti-trust laws in a lawsuit the company filed back in 2004.
