Microsoft's Xbox Console Companion app, which was originally the Xbox Windows 10 app, will no longer be available after August 28, 2023 as Microsoft has moved on to the current Xbox Windows app.

Microsoft today revealed that it is planning to introduce a new dedicated Xbox desktop experience for its Windows 10 users, and as an initial step, the current Xbox app has been renamed.
