Sony has begun rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for its flagship Xperia XZ and XZs smartphones, following the rollout of the update for the top-end Xperia XZ Premium last month.

Alongside the unveiling of two new phones that will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo, Sony also confirmed which of its existing handsets will get the upgrade to the new version of the OS.
Unveiled alongside the flagship Xperia XZ Premium with which it shares some key specs, including its 19MP camera, the Xperia XZs will go on sale tomorrow in the US in three colors, priced at $699.
